I have been in counseling for 5 years now and have experience working in private practice, school settings, and organizational settings. I have experience working with children, teens, college students, and adults. I enjoy working with all races, genders, and sexual orientations. I have experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, various mood and personality disorders, and marital issues as well. The area I would consider to be a specialty of mine is working with individuals who are healing from physical or sexual trauma.

I feel that each person is different, and as such, I like to use various therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual. I have extensive training in experiential techniques, CBT, client-based, holistic, and trauma-focused techniques. I also have received training in Gottman couples therapy and Prepare/Enrich to work with married couples to strengthen their relationships or couples who are looking for pre-marital counseling.

For those interested in my credentials, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern in 2013. I received my Master of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2017. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Georgia and plan to become a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor.
